ZeroMission is now looking for a Head of Sales & Climate Contribution that can lead and develop our team of climate experts and account managers.

Your role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who will lead and manage the sales team and develop our offer to the customers execution of delivering high-quality projects.


Currently, the Sales & Climate Contribution team consists of three team members, but with the ambition to grow you will have the trust and responsibility to shape a high performing team in accordance with our business strategies and goals. Sales are mainly focused on B2B but can include B2C as well.


As the head of the team, you will both be responsible for managing the team as well as for building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current customers and increase sales from our high-quality carbon offsetting projects.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Build, lead and motivate a diverse, high performing team of climate experts and advisors by attracting and retaining the best commercial talents.
  • Establishing and implementing individual development plans, serving as a role model in providing feedback and coaching.
  • Effectively plan and prioritize the work and deliveries for the team and allocate the team resources accordingly.


Business growth

  • Maintain and nurture existing relationships with current and past customers and partners, growing sales.
  • Develop our offer around climate contribution and carbon offsetting.
  • Prospect new business opportunities from lead stage to close.
  • Develop annual and quarterly sales targets aligned with company goals and develop sales plans to meet all targets.
  • Manage sales operations including maintaining sales CRM system (BLIKK), sales data, and sales records.
  • Contribute to a risk avert pricing while ensuring profitability.


Strategy and innovation

  • Develop our offer to the customers, from marketing and sales meetings, creating offers, execution to optimize sales and climate impact.
  • Continuously improve sales processes and routines to secure efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Responsible for monitoring the latest markets trends and developments, network and find strategic partnerships in connection with climate contribution and climate financing through carbon offsetting projects.
  • Responsible for keeping our offer compliant and relevant for our customers and the climate.


As the “Head of Sales and Climate Contribution” you will report directly to the CEO and be a part of the management team. You will work closely with our sourcing team, marketing and communication, our clients, and partners.


Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has the desire to make a difference and belief that ZeroMission together with our clients can help stop the course of climate change.


We value your personality and experience in delivering outstanding results. This role requires strong leadership skills, together with expertise from sales and deep knowledge about the carbon credit markets.


Below are some of the desired qualifications and experiences we are looking for:


  • Higher education degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience with demonstrated success in growing sales, engaging clients and partners, and closing opportunities.
  • Documented experience from carbon offsetting markets.
  • Documented leadership experience preferably from a management position.
  • Excellent communication skills together with enthusiasm, proactivity, curiosity, positive energy, and a can-do mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset with ability to evaluate (evolving) markets, technology, partnerships, and climate contribution projects.
  • Experience from business strategy and working with customer driven business development.
  • Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing a CRM system as well as financial systems.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
