ZeroMission's Privacy Policy

Privacy is important to us at ZeroMission. In order to run our business, we need to handle some personal data, some in the short term and some in the longer term. ZeroMission handles personal data in accordance with current legislation and in particular with reference to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on May 25, 2018.

In accordance with the GDPR, ZeroMission has designed systems and procedures for how personal data is handled, stored, protected and cleared. An important part of this is that we do not store any personal data beyond what is required. This means that:

1. We do not store any data that we do not need for ongoing operations and for which the person concerned has not given consent.

2. We never share personal data with third parties without the consent of the data subject (unless we are required to do so by law or court order).

3. individuals in our records have the right to ask us at any time to disclose and/or delete any data we hold about them.

What is personal data?

  • Personal data is information that can be directly or indirectly linked to an individual. It can be, for example, a name, an address, a picture, a sound recording, a telephone number or an e-mail. The information does not have to contain a name for it to be personal data.

What happens to my data when I register for ZeroMission seminars and events?

  • Your information is stored internally with us as long as we need it for the event in question. This is so that we can send information and updates, for example about food, times or to be able to payment if required. Then we ask if you want more information from us, for example through newsletters or invitations to more events, if you agree, we will keep your contact information. All other data that is not relevant will be deleted within one year.

Processing of personal data when subscribing to newsletters.

  • When you sign up to receive newsletters, we save your email address and name. We save this data in order to send you news, information and updates about ZeroMission. Your email address and name will only be saved for the duration of your newsletter subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link provided at the bottom of each newsletter. Once you unsubscribe, your data will be deleted.

Processing of personal data for you as a customer.

  • When you become a customer of ZeroMission, we save your contact information to be able to complete our contract and keep you updated. We also handle your billing address. If you for any reason stop being a customer with us, we will delete your contact information no later than one year after our customer relationship has ended.

     

    For customers using the Our Impacts tool, developed by our partner Ecometrica, the names and email addresses of the people registered as authorized users are saved. If the collaboration ends, the reporting is terminated and all documentation is sent to you as a customer. Ecometrica saves the data for one year after the end of the customer relationship, after which it is deleted.

    Google Tag Manager

    We use Google Tag Manager - a tag management system provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Tag Manager does not set any cookies of its own, but is used to manage and deploy other tracking tags and services on our website, including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag. The use of Google Tag Manager is based on our legitimate interest to effectively manage our website tracking and analytics configuration.
