Every year at ZeroMission , we have the luxury of welcoming ambitious and skilled interns to our team, and Frida is certainly no exception. She is currently doing her internship with us through Sustainergies.
As the post reveals, I am Frida! I was born and raised in Stockholm, have studied in Uppsala, and have now moved back. Sustainability has been a strong driving force in my life, so the fact that I get the opportunity to do this now feels so fun and rewarding! When I'm not at work, I find it very fun to run, be out in nature, hang out with friends and family.
It's a warm welcome I've received, where I've been able to jump straight into a few different things, which has been super exciting. I have been able to do ZeroMission's own climate accounts, which was very educational. I have also been able to attend customer meetings, which has given a good insight into what the dialog with the companies looks like and their needs.

Frida Wallin is doing her internship at ZeroMission via Sustainergies, which specializes in recruiting sustainability talent.
Something that I think feels unique about ZeroMission is that planetary benefit is just as important as business benefit and it felt like they permeate the whole company and it seemed to be a wonderful team, something that was confirmed at my interview and once I started. Just to have the opportunity to work in a competent team with a common drive to make a concrete difference together feels incredibly fun.
I hope to get better at climate calculations and understand the whole process behind them. I'm excited to see how the calculations relate to the company's climate strategy and to reducing emissions. It's particularly interesting to see how the calculations are linked to real change, and I want to get a full picture of how the numbers are used in practice to reduce emissions for real.

Interning at ZeroMission - a possible route into the world of work for sustainability talent.
Good question, it would be fun to feel what it's like to be lots of different animals, but if I would probably fit best as an otter. It feels like they like to hang out with friends, get to swim a lot and that they are generally happy with life, calm and nice!
