In 2020, Norstedts Förlagsgrupp published the company's climate impact in its sustainability report for the first time. The work with the climate accounts has been carried out together with ZeroMission.
The climate calculation covers all of the publishing group's imprints, known among many of the Swedish and international readers. In addition to Norstedts, the group includes the publishers Rabén & Sjögren, B. Wahlströms and Printz Publishing, which is Sweden's second largest.
By starting to measure its climate impact, Norstedts Förlagsgrupp now has a foundation to stand on for target setting and for targeted efforts. With the recurring climate calculation, the publishers receive feedback on the measures and can follow their development over time.

Olle Lidbom, Head of Communications and responsible for the work, comments.
Norstedts Förlagsgrupp has taken a holistic approach, and calculates the climate impact from both its own operations and the climate impact from publishing, both of printed books and the digital publishing of, for example, audiobooks and e-books.
