How are emissions calculated with the climate calculator?
ZeroMission a simple service for individuals and small service companies to calculate and take responsibility for their emissions directly online. We do this in collaboration with the company MyClimate.
Once the data has been entered and the calculation made, you can immediately take responsibility for your emissions by purchasing credits that correspond to the same amount of CO2 in a portfolio of projects. These meet the requirements for certified and verified climate projects (Gold Standard, Plan Vivo) and are designed to prevent, reduce, or bind greenhouse gas emissions globally. You cannot decide which climate projects are financed yourself; instead, they are included in a predetermined portfolio. In addition to reducing climate emissions, the projects contribute to sustainable development in the areas where they are located.
You can choose to calculate emissions for travel, your household or your small business. If you represent a company, we always recommend that you contact us first so we can help you assess whether the climate calculator is the right choice for your business.
