During December, Malin Arvidsson joined the sales team at ZeroMission. We had a short conversation to find out more about her.

Welcome to ZeroMission! You will primarily work with sales but will also do some other things once you get settled in here. Tell us a little about yourself!
Yes, I am 34 years old and come from Stockholm. I have a bachelor's degree in Social Planning with a focus on Geo-science from Stockholm University. I like to spend my free time in nature, for example hiking and skiing. And playing tennis – I do that at a fixed time every week all year round! I also love being by and on the water – with a little more practice maybe I can wave surf, today it's rather bad!
Geo-Scientist – that sounds interesting!
Yes, it's probably related to my interest in nature, reading maps when hiking for example. My first job after university was at the Swedish Maritime Administration where I worked with GIS, entering data collected in the field to improve nautical charts.
You have also worked in the startup world – tell us about it!
Yes, I joined Bruce early on, which is a training app that provides access to many training facilities. The founders had just released a beta version, and I was given the role of working with partnerships and sales to get the app to market. After a couple of years, I moved on to another startup, Position Green, where I worked with sales and customer care as an account manager.
ZeroMission started back in 2006 and isn't exactly a startup company, even though we are developing rapidly now – what made you notice us?
I have definitely been moving in a direction to work for companies that are value-driven. Position Green is absolutely guided by sustainability as its guiding principle, and ZeroMission has a clear purpose regarding the climate issue, which suits me.
And now you've been here for a while – tell us how it feels and what your expectations are!
It's great to be here. The dream is for your heart to expand a little when you go to work, and that's exactly how it feels – spot on! There is a nice atmosphere, and there is a lot of knowledge in the climate field, so it feels very exciting! For me, it's about contributing with the skills I've built up previously, and I look forward to contributing with positive energy.
Yes, we have all felt that energy already and appreciate it very much! You have been with us for a few weeks now, how is it going?
Of course, there is a lot to learn, both new routines and systems, but above all our products and services. I'm reading up and asking lots of questions. It's nice that there is an open climate for dialogue, that anything can be discussed and that I get good support.
Great – we already like you! Finally, do you have any secret talents we should know about?
Mmm, it could perhaps be that I can solve a Rubik's Cube reasonably quickly. My record is 1 minute 40 seconds…
Wow, that's an impressive time! Then we know what we have to look forward to at the next social event, looking forward to seeing this in reality. Until then, again a warm welcome to the team Malin!
