ZeroMission and Kolla Launches Partnership for Digital Product Passports (DPP)

August 28, 2026

Press Release: As digital product passports (DPPs) become increasingly established, DPP provider Kolla and climate calculation expert company ZeroMission are launching a partnership. Together, they offer a comprehensive solution for companies that need to calculate their emissions and integrate this information into brand-customized digital product passports.

“Most of the potential customers we speak with currently have about 70–80 percent of the data required for DPP,” says Colm O’Callaghan, CEO of Kolla.

“But they often lack data on environmental impact,” he adds.

“This is one of the areas where many companies need support, and we see that ZeroMission is an excellent partner for us in that regard.”

So far, the EU has only established the so-called “delegated acts” (the specific requirements) for batteries, while other industries are still awaiting a decision. However, there is broad consensus that carbon dioxide emissions will need to be reported on a per-product basis, and that a verified cradle-to-gate assessment will be required. This may vary between product categories, but calculating emissions will most likely become a requirement. Water and chemical usage are also expected to need to be reported.

For ZeroMission , the benefits of the Kolla partnership are just as clear.

“When a company has put in the effort to collect robust climate data, it’s important that this information is communicated in a way that actually makes a difference. Kolla is an excellent platform for transforming raw data into something concrete, understandable, and even inspiring,” says Henrik Juhlin, CEO of ZeroMission.

“We see how our solution, in conjunction with Kolla, can present the results of emissions calculations in a simple and visually appealing way through the product passports. This gives companies a commercial advantage for doing the right thing,” he adds.

Kolla's platform is designed to create a brand experience around each digital product passport and to make the large amount of data required for DPP easily accessible and easy to understand.

In the field of digital product passports, Kolla nu, in partnership with ZeroMission , has an extensive network of consultants, advisors, and climate calculation experts who assist companies during the data collection phase. In addition, Kolla collaborates with the traceability experts at PSQR, enabling customers to receive support in both data modeling and other PIM systems.
